Other Projects
These are short run downs of a few other projects
Colorful Crafting Room
This is a Crafting Room/ Home Office. The navy blue couch was already in the room, as well as the tv mounted in the corner. She wanted bright fun colors, specifically Emerald Green, Fuchsia, Yellow, Mint and baby pink. I love colors in a creative space since color promotes creativity, but too much color can be overwhelming. Firstly, I added white and light wood in the room to try to relax the eye from all the color happening in the room. Due to the fact she wanted a large table-top, I added a corner desk with a matching height second desk to make a larger "L". Another furniture request was a place to put a printer, so I found the cabinet for under the tv to hide the ugly printer behind closed doors. Secondly, I made sure there were plenty of places to sit as well, since mixing up your scenery/workspace can break creativity blockages. Lastly, I accented with some plants and décor to pull the room to the room together.

Mid-Century Bachelor Pad
This Mid-Century Modern Bachelor Pad is a brand new build that he wanted to make look nice for when he brings friends, family, and potential suitors. He wanted light colors combined with accent blue, amber, and a few dark tones. I picked furniture with some Mid-Century lines and some Modern lines. To combat the room feeling sterile, I added plants and his favorite accent colors.
Warm Rustic Bedroom
The client of this room wanted warm colors the make the master bedroom a sanctuary away from their kids. I've previously designed a few other spaces for them and they love the modern Farmhouse style. They requested the master bedroom feel like it matches the house but still stand its own. The rest of the house is light and neutral, so to set it apart for the parents we decided to go darker.

Pastel Girly Glam Apartment
The client had just moved into a new apartment with open planned living. The apartment is modern white with huge floor to ceiling windows. She wanted to decorate it girly in her favorite colors pink and blue. and her only other request was a sleeper sofa so she she could have guests over. With all that in mind, I added modern shaped furniture to keep with the modern kitchen. I kept all the colors light and airy like her inspiration pictures, but used various tones of the colors to not seem too overwhelming with color. I added lighting throughout to keep with the bright vibes even at night. Since she likes hosting parties, I added a large coffee table that's perfect game night.
Colorful Boho Mini Apartment
This client has a studio apartment for college and wanted a bright colorful space with loads of plants. In her inspiration pictures, there was a lot of wicker, light wood tones, and a complete array of colors. Since she is a student she needs a desk with a comfortable chair to be sitting in for hours at a time, the desk also could double as a space to eat. I added the bench so she could move it around and accommodate guests. The hanging chair can also be used as a reading nook/alternative study space. Also the bed can be multi purpose as well; it can double as a couch when leaning against the headboard with a pillow. Lastly the kitchenette was just a white and chrome eye sore in the corner of the room. Since she loves color, I suggested she add pink marble contact paper plus white peel and stick tile with a fun pop of sea-foam to match the bedding and other décor. The biggest challenge was finding a space to put all the furniture she wanted, but she loved it and is excited to study hard in her new space.
Modern Rustic Living room
This house belongs to young family with kids. The living room also has to function as an office for the husband when he works from home on the rare occasion. They already had the couch and wanted a cozy warm Farmhouse style. With all that in mind, the more texture a space has, the more "homey"/cozy it feels. Leather and wood were the textures I used the most. I like in my home designs to use a variety in the tones of colors it feels more lived in.
